PRIVACY POLICY

Effective date: 10 March 2025

1. Who We Are

DZIDE is a branded product from ZOLAYOLA LTD ("we", "us", "our") which is a company registered in England and Wales. We are the data controller for the personal data we collect through the DZIDE website at dzide.xyz and related services (the "Service").

Email: privacy@dzide.xyz

2. What Data We Collect

We collect and process the following categories of personal data:

Account data: When you create an account we collect your email address and, if you choose to provide one, your display name. If you sign in via a third-party provider, we receive your name and email from that provider.

Usage data: We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, decision trees accessed, and timestamps. This helps us improve the product and fix issues.

Payment data: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by a 3rd party. We do not store your full card details — a 3rd party handles this securely. We receive and store a transaction reference, subscription status, and billing dates.

Device and technical data: We automatically collect your IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers through server logs and, where you consent, through cookies or similar technologies.

Decision data: If you save decisions or create custom trees, that content is stored on our servers (hosted via a 3rd party) so that we can provide the Service to you.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • To create and manage your account
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions
  • To send transactional emails (account confirmations, password resets, billing receipts)
  • To respond to your enquiries and provide support
  • To analyse usage trends and improve the user experience
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
  • To comply with legal obligations

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (UK GDPR)

We rely on the following lawful bases:

Performance of a contract: Processing your account and payment data is necessary to deliver the Service to you under our Terms of Service.

Legitimate interests: We process usage and technical data to improve the Service, ensure security, and prevent abuse. We have assessed that these interests do not override your rights and freedoms.

Consent: Where we use non-essential cookies or send marketing communications, we do so only with your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Legal obligation: We may process data where required to comply with applicable law or a court order.

5. Sharing Your Data

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following categories of recipients, and only to the extent necessary:

  • Hosting and Database: Stores your account data and decision data.
  • Payments: Processes payment information for paid subscriptions.
  • Analytics: Configured to minimise personal data collection.
  • Legal: We may disclose data if required by law, regulation, or legal process.

6. International Transfers

Some of our service providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where this occurs, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), or reliance on an adequacy decision.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, accounting, or security purposes.

Payment records are retained for up to 7 years in accordance with UK tax and accounting requirements.

8. Your Rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification: Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Erasure: Ask us to delete your data (subject to legal retention obligations)
  • Restriction: Ask us to restrict processing in certain circumstances
  • Portability: Receive your data in a structured, commonly used format
  • Object: Object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Consent: Where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time

To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@dzide.xyz. We will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

9. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the Service (e.g. session authentication). We may also use optional analytics cookies with your consent. You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings or, where available, through our cookie banner.

10. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the Service. The "Effective date" at the top will be updated accordingly.
